The African American Chamber of Commerce of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware celebrated 26 years of empowering Black-owned businesses during its annual meeting and awards ceremony.
“This has been 26 years that the African American Chamber has been the voice in the community,” AACC Chairman Steven Scott Bradley said as he addressed the hundreds of business and political leaders who attended the event Thursday at Vie.
“We’re out there advocating on behalf of small businesses [and] medium businesses and we want to make a difference in our community.”
The event served as an occasion for the chamber to recognize the achievements of six leaders.
Tomika McFadden, founder and president of BeWhole Health, received the first recognition of the evening — the Nonprofit of the Year Award. Read more
