So the Philadelphia Phillies are contributing to renovations at Coca-Cola Park in Allentown after all.
During a news conference at the stadium Friday that was attended by top Phillies brass, it was announced that the Phils would be paying an undisclosed amount toward updating player facilities.
That’s nice. The investment is welcome and important. But the Phillies could have done much more, much sooner, to help the IronPigs, their top minor league partner. Let’s not lose sight of that. Read more here
