Allentown NAACP 70th Annual Freedom Fund and Awards Banquet Saturday July 28

The Allentown Branch of the NAACP will be having its 70^th Annual Freedom Fund and Awards Banquet on Saturday July 28, 2012, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn located at 9^th and Hamilton Streets in center city Allentown.

Reverend Gregory Edwards 

The Keynote speaker will be Reverend Gregory Edwards who is currently CEO and President of Resurrected Community Development Corporation, Inc. located in Allentown’s Center City.  This year’s theme “Moving the Community Forward” focuses on addressing the issues, circumstances and barriers that prevent our community from improving the quality of life for all our citizens.

The banquet will include a buffet style meal.

The NAACP is run by Volunteers and the annual Freedom Fund banquet is our primary fund raising effort.  All funds raised will go toward financing the banquet and NAACP operations.  Individual tickets can be purchased for a donation of $45.00 each.  Tickets will not be available at the door.
