Over the past two decades, Christkindlmarkt Bethlehem has delighted almost one million guests from near and far with its mix of unique gift ideas, old-world charm and holiday cheer. This year the festival will celebrate 20 years of holiday magic with a six-week run that features more than 125 vendors each week, more than ever before.
Recognized as one of the top holiday markets in the world by Travel + Leisure, Christkindlmarkt features aisles of exquisite, handmade works by the nation’s finest artisans; the heart-warming sounds of live holiday music; and delicious German and Austrian favorites such as bratwurst, German roasted almonds and strudel. The event, which takes place Thursdays-Sundays, Nov. 15-Dec. 23, will include more than 200 different vendors during its six-week run, with artisans coming from 20 different states. From beautiful, handcrafted jewelry and hand-carved wooden Santas to stunning stained glass stars and hand-knit clothing, the event features thousands of holiday decorations and gift ideas perfect for every taste and budget.  Christkindlmarkt Bethlehem hours are Thurs., 11 a.m.-6 p.m., Fri.-Sat., 11 a.m.-8 p.m., and Sun., 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Advance tickets, which are on sale now, are $7 for a daily pass (ages 12 and under are admitted free) and $16 for a season pass. Starting Nov. 15, admission is $8 for a daily pass and $18 for a season pass. Free parking for Christkindlmarkt is available adjacent to the venue, located at PNC Plaza at SteelStacks, 645 E. First St., Bethlehem.
