KC & the Sunshine Band and The Family Stone Thursday August 8th @ Musikfest

Founded in 1973 by Harry Wayne Casey, KC and the Sunshine Band produced a string of No. 1 hits in the 70s including "Get Down Tonight," That's the Way (I Like It)," "(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty," "I'm Your Boogie Man" and "Keep It Comin' Love."

In 1978, KC earned two Grammy Awards - Album of the Year and Producer of the Year - for his work on the soundtrack for Saturday Night Fever.
