2014 Freedom Fund Banquet Event

The Allentown Branch of the NAACP will be celebrating its 72^th Annual Freedom Fund and Awards Banquet on Saturday July 26, 2014, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn located at 9^th and Hamilton Streets in center city Allentown.

Keynote speaker will be Mr. John E. Wetzel, Secretary of the PA Department of Corrections where he is responsible for management and operations which cover approximately 16,000 employees with a budget of nearly two billion dollars.

This year’s theme “Exposing the Pipeline – School Zone to the Prison Zone” focuses on continuing to work together as an overall community to ensure our youth receive a quality education and that we provide the resources to intervene where necessary to keep our youth in the “school zone” versus the “prison zone”.

Individual tickets can be purchased for a donation of $45.00 each.  Tickets will not be available at the door.
