The Story, on Facebook I am a highly educated woman who built a seven-figure business from scratch. I had to fight to be heard by the OB-GYN, doctors and staff at the hospital. I checked myself into triage against one doctor’s advice, only to give birth later that day via emergency C-section. Ingrained bias and institutionalized racism are real.
